City

Tallinn, Estonia

Contemporary ruins and medieval plastic - capital of Estonia.

Tallinn is a capital city of Estonia. It is at least 800 years old and has changed its name and ruling countries many times. The city is a vivid mix of medieval, Russian, Estonian, German and soviet influences. Complicated history of the last century, ethnic divisions and post-soviet capitalism create a specific landscape Estonian artists are reacting to. The city also has really nice beaches, parks and bars.
