In 2009, Darwin Festival is continuing our commitment to maintaining environmentally friendly initiatives. These include: separated bins at our venues to enable recycling and the use of carbon neutral paper and organic inks in our marketing materials. Our new venue, The Lighthouse, features energy efficient LED lights in the canopy and in 2009 we are especially encouraging our patrons and staff to use alternative methods of transport to get to our events. Ride a bike, catch the bus or car pool. Getting there can be part of the fun!
