Established in 19 of January of 1867, the Club Democraticos is the oldest carnavalesca society of Brazil and one of the few still in activity. They are situated in Lapa - the Democraticos Club is always in glory times. The space has been launching pad for musicians of the new generation of Samba. The Club is spacious and good for dancing Samba, Choro and Forró. Wendsday is my favourite day.
If you are a girl don't worry about finding a dance partner. Just stay around the dance floor and you will be pikced up.
