Skopje harbors some great feats of Brutalism, one of them is the Post Office in the center designed by Macadonian architect Janko Konstantinov who came back to Skopje after the 1963 earthquake to help in the reconstruction efforts.

Janko Konstantinov was born in Bitola and worked for a while in Finland under Alvar Aalto. The Central Post Office was finished in three fase in 1974, 1982, 1989.
