How to add an event

Fill us in about the when and where of interesting happenings.

If you want to inform other members about an event taking place in your city, you can add that to the website by making a new contribution.

  • Go to Contributions and then click on Add an Event.

  • Fill in when and where this event will take place. Instead of filling in an address to link your event to a city, you add the site where the event is taking place: start typing the name of the place or venue where it is happening. A list of places will appear; click on the one you were looking for or create a new location if it isn't in the list.

Important: always make sure the organisation has an address; otherwise your event will not be linked to the city it is about.

  • Type in the name of the event and write a short, but comprehensive description about the event. Add a picture to make your page complete.

  • Finally, choose keywords that will link your event to similar things, so more visitors will click on your event-page.
