Architect Štefan Svetko, finished in 1985 In 1963 architect Miloš Chorvát won the design contest for this building. Then the investor decided he preferred the second-place design. The lucky architects gradually came to a symetric, steel composition capable of supporting itself, like a wicker basket. They settled on the shape of an inverted pyramid, leading to many theories and speculations of Egyptian influences.
