I'm a Spanish photographer living in Asunción, Paraguay.
I arrived in Asunción several years ago to enroll in a media development project in the Paraguayan television.
The quite life and extremely friendly population were little by little convincing me to delay my returning to Madrid. In the meantime I made photographs. Tons of them. And, at the same time I was depicting people around, I was also getting to know them deeply. And learning how to love them, as well... With their extreme quietness, their lust for life, their immediateness, their spontaneity and their perpetuous willingness to pose for my camera!
I can be your guide throughout the slums and the underground, covered, spotty, minimal, unseen, fringe latin-guaraní culture, but also for the trendy, fashionable and so bizarre american-oriented Asunción nightlife. And of course, I invite you to take a boat with me along the Paraguay river to share your life some days with the indigenous population of El Chaco.
